If further assurances are required in respect of historic mining activity it may be necessary to carry a physical site investigation. The two commonest accepted methods are by means of excavation or by the drilling of boreholes. Prior to any proposed investigation we will undertake an initial site inspection/meeting to determine the most cost effective and efficient method for carrying out these works. We can arrange for the hire of suitable equipment and after the investigation is complete we will produce a full report in either electronic or paper format, acceptable to mortgage providers etc.
